Dr. Hina Shah

Dr. Hina Shah is a visionary leader dedicated to empowering individuals through entrepreneurship, education, and creativity. As the Founder and Director of the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (ICECD), she pioneered the institutionalization of entrepreneurship development in India and across 55 countries, touching millions of women and youth with the tools for economic independence and purposeful lives.

Through ICECD, Dr. Shah has shaped global policy, partnering with organizations like the UN, the Commonwealth Secretariat, and the World Bank to establish benchmark models for women’s empowerment and youth entrepreneurship, proving that entrepreneurship is a powerful force for personal and social change.

Extending her vision to education, she founded the Satyameva Jayate International School in 2000—India’s first school to introduce entrepreneurship as a regular subject, cultivating confident, self-reliant young citizens with the courage to think differently. A passionate advocate for creativity, she also founded Hina’s Art Pavilion as a platform for artists, particularly women and children, viewing art and entrepreneurship as vital paths to discovering inner strength and purpose.

At the foundation, Dr. Shah brings her lifelong commitment and deep understanding of human potential. Her guidance helps create programs that offer not only economic support but also the confidence, creativity, and hope needed for single mothers to embrace empowerment as a way of life.

"I aim to empower single mothers to rise with dignity and purpose — because every woman deserves not sympathy, but opportunity."
